Considering Buying Torque

I'm Considering Buying Torque. This deserves capital letters because I'mvery interested. However could someone please tell my what level Torque is? Does it implement raycasting colision, volume colision? How easy is it to use? I ahvea background in 3d lingo (for director) and I know C++ to the AP level. Could someone perhaps walk me through a simple projects steps so I could get a better idea of how complex it is, are there any mac Torque tutorials/could someone write one, thanks, Will Hogben.

Torque is, like the material says, a AAA game engine.

It implements raycasting and volume collision. You will probably need to spend at least a year working with Torque to become familiar with it, although you'll be able to start on parts of your game almost immediately.

Every game is different, so there aren't really any "walk throughs." :(
