A 2d online deathmatch game is in Alpha Stage and we are looking for artists interested in helping get the community off the ground.

To learn more about the actual game design, check out my latest plan:

We have a tentative release date of Sept. 1st, for release to IGF, but the game will continue to be developed into the future to meet community demand. We want you to help make the community vibrant, and we will do our best to provide you with the tools (which are already working) to make and promote your 2D deathmatch mods so that people around the globe can enjoy. If you contact us we can get you setup with the latest goods to get you going so that you can complete your mod(s) before we go public.

You can get started in one of two ways....

- Join the ClashTeam, the original team comprised of several talented artists and all the original creators of the game...Chris Davis, Shayne Guiliano and Reneldy Senat....and we will be offering $100 to any talented individuals that join our team before release to work on the mods we have already started.

- Create your own ModTeam (this can just be yourself) so that you can create mods in your own vision. When the website goes live in a couple weeks, you will get one profile page each for you, your team, and each and every character and mod you ever create, and we will do our best to promote and make sure everyone sees the work you are doing. When you finish a mod, you can sumbit a banner for every mod you create, and we will continually post these banners on all the community website pages. You can also use our boards to manage character and level development, upload your work for distribution to our server, and we will support you closely all along the way so that you can make your visions reality.

We already have a well developed level editor (with a few bugs still, but fairly robust) and working versions of the game. Get in now and you will have a strong hand in helping us mold 2DClash over the coming weeks and months so that the experience is great for you and everyone who plays your mods.
