crashing woes

Hi, not to raise any alarms but my iTGB is acting very glitchy as of late. For the most part I have been using iTGB 1.3.1. I have it located in my Mac/Harddrive/Applications folder. I recently installed SnowLeopard OSX over just OSX. My computer has been a little slower actually since.. is Apple losing their touch?.. even now, typing was just slow. Anyhow, I am wondering, have there been any recent issues, problem solving techniques people may know of?
In my case, I run a level and it is generally fine for anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes, then it just acts very slowly. Any edits I make, change panels, move object, move screen etc, are extremely slow. What I had been doing, before I became aware of this, was just keep clicking, to do what I need to do, but my mouse would just jump around. I click the panels to say "Create" and the mouse bounces back into the building area. Things like that.
I have turned off all other applications to ease any stress that may have been causing but that has not worked.
If any one has any advice on how to trouble shoot I would love to hear it. Cheers.

iMac, Intel Core Duo 2.4 GHz. It is very strange. It just started happening slowly but surely over the past couple of days. Everything else seems to be fine. I am going to call a Mac Store soon if it persists. SnowLeopard has been slower overall than my OSX.

For some reason, I have discovered that I think it was just the one level I was working on. I am not sure why but a new scene has worked fine thus far. Thanks
