Run time problem!!!

Now i had window 98 on my computer and oll game made with torque and the torque game engine work nice and fast on my computer. my windows has crashed and i had to format and install windows again. since i dont have the windows 98 cd anymore (and i cant find a retail store that sells it) i had to use window 2000 pro. now i have a tnt2 32 mb PCI vidoe card and it works fine with window 98 and run all game with torque games/engine but with the driver that windows 2000 installed they do not work. when i try to install the nvidia 44.03(the driver that was installed with windows 98 with had no problems) windows 2000 crash and will not load. the same thing happens when i try to install 44.35 version driver. can anyone please help me cuase it would really sux if now that i have windows 2000 and cant run torque.
just to let you know why it does not work read this:
i download the windows 2000 version of the driver but when i go and install the driver when it starts a window comes up and says not it is not window sigunture approve or something like that.
PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.

Because millions of people ask and answer questions bout windows crashing. your question wasn't about torque, but more about your system.

He did read it, and answered it. Your problems stem from not knowing much about computers in general. TechTV is a good place to post that kind of question. Just replace the word torque with opengl and you're good to go.

Yea but there would be a problem MY VIDEO CARD WORKS WITH OPENGL GAMES, DIRECTX GAMES AND AL MOST ALL OTHER GRAPHICS LIBRARY/ENGINES. this question is Torque related!!

That driver install is for both Windows 2000 and XP, maybe even Windows 2003 Server(who knows?). After trying that driver please come back and post results. Hopfully that did some good. :)

OK let's start off right. Ryan Zec, are you using Microsoft's provided video driver(s)? If so please try these drivers located at: www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_44.03.htmlThat driver install is for both Windows 2000 and XP, maybe even Windows 2003 Server(who knows?). After trying that driver please come back and post results. Hopfully that did some good. :)

When i tried that before when the installer started in came up with a window that said this device is not microsoft or windows signuture approved or some thing like that but i decide to install anyways then when i restalled the computer would freeze at the windows 2000 boot up scrreen(i tries like ten times to reboot but same thing) then i tried the 44.35 driver but the same thing happend so it there anymore advice you could give me?

Or you could apply this super cool patch to that windows install and everything would work just fine.

Well, lets see. You installed some drivers, now w2k won't boot. So that means you've installed the wrong driver. Boot into safe mode, change your video driver back to the ol' vga driver and try again. You have a old card, could try a old driver. Or you could apply this super cool patch to that windows install and everything would work just fine.

Just because the answers you recieved are either not what you want to hear or you don't understand them, does not make the wrong. They are right on target
I concur, your problems have nothing to do with Torque and everything to do with your specific system and/or lack of general computer comprehension.
I also concur that that TNT2 card is dustbin material, mow a lawn or two and you could get a less antiquated card that would be 10x faster.

1) Use the proper forum for the proper question
2) One post per topic
3) Ask, don't demand
4) Sit down, shut up, and try to learn something when people try to teach you
Nobody owes you anything, so stop acting like they do. Torque runs fine on a TNT2, I know because my mother plays Marble Blast on a TNT2, and that TNT2 used to be mine. Regardless of what games work/don't work with it, there are also a few hundred people with TNT2s that work fine. Your drivers aren't correct and I'm guessing that when Torque tries to dynamically load the GL libraries it isn't finding them, which makes it think there is no GL device.

I just could up a computer store and am now getting a geforce 128MB PCI video card so I should have no more truoble with video problems.
