Hey all
Im having some problems unwrapping my object. The plugin stacks many of the pieces on top of eachother instead of dissecting them and laying them side by side. What settings for the mapping do I need to change or what do I need to change in my models to help them unwrap correctly.
Heres the max plugin Im using: http://www.max3dstuff.com/max4/unwrapUtil/help.html
Though this one seems pretty good, perhaps there are some better ones out there?
Thanks.

You can just use the UVunwapper that comes with MAX. Thats the best tool. Trick is to unwrap your model in sections. Also make sure to use the best fitting UVW map for that section. Also Texporter is a good tool for rendering your texture map for editing. Just do a search you'll find it.Matt

Logan Foster put it into a PDF resource on this site.
I used to use Chiliskinner, but Chiliskinner requires a ridiculous amount of work in comparison.

Yup, theres more than one way to skin a cat. :P I dabbled a bit with chilliskinner, but Im finding that no matter which plugin I use, I need to setup the model correctly first. The PDF has been a big help in showing me what I need to do.
