iDevice, not connected to XCode [solved]

Hi there,
I am doing some beta tests on my iDevice. However, as of, just today, my iDevice is not connected via the XCode Organizer. It is connected physically through wires. I just restarted my computer to double check same thing. Is it possible that I hit a switch or something?

    ok, so I looked at a few threads, nothing beyond faulty wires as an explanation. I have had to reinstall XCode, a bit of a pain but has worked.
