Considering Purchasing TGB 2D

Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can help me regarding the below questions:
1) I'm considering purchasing TGB 2D, but then would like to move over to IPHONE Development, can I upgrade later on? From reading the documentation, if I'm not mistaken, I would need to purchase TGB 2D for $250.00 in order to be able to purchase later on the ITorque for IPHONE for $750.00, so in essence, it's a total of $1000.00, plus the license for Apple, which if I'm not mistaken it's $100.00 for Developers....
2) For IPHONE Development, would I need to invest in a MAC, install their SDK, in order to export my game creations to their IPHONE platform?
3) If I decide to just purchase the TGB 2D for just $100.00, is there a way to embedded my games in a html, to be displayed in major browsers. I've done some searching on the forum, and been reading about installing 3rd party plug-ins, in order for the user to see and play the games, is this the only way?
4) What about Flash, it would be nice if the engine would allow to export the game not only in exe, but also as a .swf, this would in turn take care of the browser issue
5) What about Android? Yes, IPHONE, is still the king of smartphones, but I think Android is coming on strong, and it would be nice, if we had a Torque for Android......
Overall, I would really appreciate any feedback and suggestions, you might give me. I'm still undecided on which Engine to purchase, I still have to look at Unity 3D. My background is Web Site Design, with some HTML / Java / Action-Script skills, and I've been going over the Tutorials, especially the Torque-script, one thing I like about Torque is the support in the forums, and the GUI, for the development of games. Thanks so much for your time and God Bless....
Sincerely,
Sunday

Thanks for the quick response, in regards to #4, thanks for such engine, but do you think, TGB in the near future would export to .swf file. I understand that TGB is not a flash engine, however, it only exports to .exe, why not .swf file, especially when Android is going with Adobe Flash 10.1.....
It would be awesome if TGB would be able to export to .swf or Android, to reap the benefits of making games for another mobile platform such as Android......Thanks and God Bless....

I highly doubt that will ever happen. It has never been in the plans and I doubt that will change.

3. You will need to use a third-party packaging program to embed the game and make it playable in the browser.
Could you recommend such a program ? Will T2D contain such functionality Similar to *gasp* T3D (hopefully much improved over it...)

There are a couple of web wrappers that people have been successful with, but I cannot think of them right now. I believe one was the OSAKit.

We are still deciding on some of the core functionality, which includes web deployment. We would like to see it, but have made no solid determination on it at this time. There are a couple of web wrappers that people have been successful with, but I cannot think of them right now. Flash is a pain in the rear for end-users, and with HTML5 advancing it is just a matter o time, until Flash becomes a relic. I have no idea, if the effect engine can be used for commercial games, but since you are looking for a way to run it in a browser, I assume you want it to be free?

Since it seems to be OK to link to free engines, i would like to recommend one that relies on other technologies than flash:www.effectgames.com/effect/

2. Yes. An Intel-based Mac and 10.6+ is required for the iPhone SDK and latest version of XCode. 10.5 used to be supported, but 10.6 is not the official OS supported.

4. TGB is not a Flash engine. If you want a flash engine, check out PushButtonEngine.
5. There is not an Android deployment available at this time and no word yet on any official port.
