Sorry if this is a dupe but I didn't see anything about it here -

http://www.appleoutsider.com/2010/06/10/hello-lua/

mentions this change that may apply to T2D-Iphone

Unless otherwise approved by Apple in writing, no interpreted code may be downloaded or used in an Application except for code that is interpreted and run by Apple’s Documented APIs and built-in interpreter(s). Notwithstanding the foregoing, with Apple’s prior written consent, an Application may use embedded interpreted code in a limited way if such use is solely for providing minor features or functionality that are consistent with the intended and advertised purpose of the Application.

This is great news for iTGB. Looks like they were just targeting flash!

It's three days old, so everybody, including my mom. knows about it by now :P

Now TorquePowered just need to talk to Apple about that little permission thing, and we can all shut up about it :)

Updated again:

Seems much better now. See section 3.3.2. iTorque is safe.

iTorque though is one of those engines that has the capability to add scripts at runtime. Keep in mind that this is a no go (always was but now it was refreshed as a major point again), so even if you add InApp Store features, those must only be new levels and assets, no scripts of any kind

I think Apple are more concerned about solutions that would enable apps to be easily compiled for different platforms, so that developers could easily publish the same or similar apps/games to the other mobile stores. Since GG are having a hard time keeping up with just one mobile target, and it looks very unlikely that they will produce new versions for Android, or whatever, anytime soon, I doubt that Apple would be in the least bit concerned about iTGB. So, I wouldn't worry about it.
