Milkshape 3D Exporter

Hi guys,

Well, I've finally got a Milkshape 3D exporter running for the Reaction Engine. It doesn't do animation yet, though. You can get it here:

www.tdtstudios.com/re/MS3DExporter.zip

Please bare in mind that this should be considered in alpha stages. There's still a ways to go yet. Read the readme in the zip file for more information on what it will/wont do.

Many many thanks to Matt Fairfax for helping with getting the normal generation going.

A G3D SDK will be following in the next couple of weeks which will allow .g3d tools to be "easily" created along with docs for the file format.

If you have questions/comments, please post them here.

Have fun,

Tom.

Edit: Clarified things for Nathan ;-)

Hasn't there already been a Milkshape 3D Exporter to DTS for Torque? It sure is apart of the SDK. And from past experience it already does animation from when I was exporting a turret explain that Paul Dana did as a resource a while back. :P

Edited: Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the group which this message was posted to. Damn this site needs message filtering for only groups I want to monitor. :P

No worries. Not much further to go now before it's all in a releasable state.
