How stable is Torque now?

Hi,
I tested Torque few months ago during the last winter. It was a discovery for me and i was quit not compfortable with its approach back then. Now that i am a little more familiar with modular approaches in software in general, i try another come back.
Can you say that Torque has grown into a more stable and reliable tool since then or is it still a chase betwen many bugs and components incompabilities? Will it one day become a one piece software like director where most behind the scene tasks are hidden from designer or will we always have to deal with the different layers ourselves?
Thanks for your inputs.

Most people have rightfully given up on Torque and moved to Unity.

Depending on when you stopped, since your last use there has been a beta (T3D 1.1). The next update will be happening in July which will be addressing a ton of bugs, performance issues, and stability with the new editors.

T3D 1.0.1, the current released binary version, is very stable and more than capable of releasing polished final products. Since 1.1 is in beta it's going to be less stable than 1.0.1, but as Michael mentioned, that won't be the case for too much longer.
