Game programmer position in Houston

Hello, all

I'm here to inform you about an open programmer position available at a self-funded startup called Cinematic Games. As it stands, we're looking to add 1 (perhaps 2) programmers to our existing team. The project is intended to be an FPS with a strong dependence on storyline, and some minor multiplayer options.

Qualifications:

- Extensive C/C++ knowledge and OOP concepts.
- Graphics programming experience in either OpenGL or DirectX 8+
- Reasonable level of understanding in performance treatments and code optimization.

Preferred, but not required:

- Network programming
- Prior professional game industry experience
- Understanding of working with 3rd party commercial engines such as Unreal, NetImmerse, Renderware, and/or Lithtech.
- Knowledge of Mathengine Karma physics SDK.
- Prior experience managing a team of programmers.
