More than one player not working correctly

by Dan DeBlasio · in General Game Discussion · 07/06/2003 (11:39 am) · 6 replies

I have a problem when more than one player is on the list. When a newer player hits "stop" on one of the levels he is playing, or hits "replay" after completing a level, instead of returning to the proper level it switches to the level that the other player was last working on when they exited the game. If the person completes the level, it goes to the next level they would have had, but again, if he hits stop, it goes back to that same level it did before.

Any way to fix this?

NOTE: I have the "Gadgets" version of the game, purchased from eGames. Does this make any difference? How can I get updates?

That's really weird! First off, the Gadgets version should be exactly the same as the Chain Reaction version.

I'll have to check into this bug and get back to you.

I have this same problem in version 1.3.2 just downloaded. It occurs every time the game is played with a user account on the same computer other than the one that installed the game (i.e., my kids' user accounts). Any progress on this since last summer?

Yes, XP home edition. Any suggestions for this game?

Also - where can we find the downloadable additional levels?
