Always Publishing over gg

If i create a game and give it out for free.Can i give the game on my own website for downloading, or must i send it to gg?

AFAIK you can put it on your ows site. As long as its free as you said...

But I'm not sure about this.

Yeah free games can be distributed freely. Infact pay games can be distributed however you want unless you / your publisher have a revenue of > $500,000.

The license agreement is fairly clear on these matters, have a look at that.
