Question on CVS HEAD

Well, maybe I missed something or whatever, but here my question.
I made a completly new HEAD checkout and noticed the Demo and some other folders under example. But they are absolutly empty. Just a few folders with nothing in it. Maybe this is just normal, but i don't think so, because when I look at the CVS changelist, there should be some files in it.
Maybe there's a new branch are something i've missed. Does anybody knows something about it?

I just downloaded the HEAD and I was watching the folder as it added the files (mainly the example folder) and I saw it add some new folders like the Demo folder, but when CVS exited they disapeared. I dont know that much about HEAD updating, but is this supposed to happen. If so why?. If not what do I do to get these files.
