Resource search broken (from main Resources page)

In the community, click on Resources. Enter something in the search field in the top right corner. Hit enter and no results are returned. You then have to hit the "Select areas to search" dropdown and check Resources before any results can be returned.

btw, is there a way to search using "AND" so that the search can be narrowed down?
