Hi,
I was talking with Torque licencing support, but they suggested me to try to find some answers here. Could someone help, me?
William Lee Seems, on the below thread:

Have suggested me to try to learn C+ through some Microsof tutorials. I will start it.
But, I have some questions. Could someone explain it to me?
1) To install Torque I have to have Visual Studio installed. Is this a paid app?
2) I was searching for some courses, but I was thinking in try to learn C+ alone, through books, internet, tutorials, etc. Perhaps can I create a game by this way, purchasing the US$ 100,00 indie licence of Torque 2D?
Someone knows someone that created a game as I am intending?
3) Someone sees some problem on the "powered by Torque" splash screen that appears on the games created with the indie licence of Torque 2D? Is there some problem on it, when we sell our games?
Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Thank you for your help.
So, I will see the free version of Visual Studio.
Regarding the splashscreen, really. You are right.
So, regarding your 2 notes, I talked with the licencing department of GarageGames, and they told me that Torque 2D is already a product, which is being used by great companies. I think I will try it.
I will see some C++ tutorials, purchase some books, and, purchase the indie version of Torque 2D. I only fear that all of this ends in "nothing". :(
I was taking a look on Unity and UDK, but they seems to be more difficult than Torque, to me. And, also, I want to begin with something more cheaper, because as I have said, I don't know if will I get to create a game.
I know that the fantastic And Yet It Moves was made with Torque 2D (or am I wrong?), so, I think that Torque 2D is a good product. :)

2) theres a billion and one C++ books/courses/tutorials so you should be good to go there, i think the $100 version is the non pro no source included version, so if you wanted to tinker with the actual core of the engine in C++ youd need the pro version. But you dont necessarily need the pro (see note 2 below)
3) Ive never actually understood why people have a problem with this, i'd personally add the splashscreen even if its not a requirement.
Two other notes i'd like to make..
1, Torque 2D isnt actually a product yet, if this is the direction you want to go i'd advise you wait a little to find out GGs marketing strategy on this one.
2) Regardless of whether you choose 2D or 3D or the binary vs pro versions, TorqueScript is very C/C++ like in some ways, so you are oing to need to develop some coding/scripting skills regardless
I'm not sure what capabilities come with the demo versions of the products, somebody else would have to jump in there
