The latest version of the exporter are available from both sites mentioned above. Install instructions are probably included in the release drops. Just download the zip and follow the instructions. IIRC just requires dropping a few python scripts into the Blender install's script folder.

Beta is probably safe enough. Revert to stable if you come across issues.

The scripts are platform-independent.

i had issues with it so i use 2.48 from here:
http://download.blender.org/release/

and the exporter from here:
http://www.jsgreenawalt.com/Blender-DTS-Exporter/download.html

extract the zip to your blender folder mine is:
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender

then follow: Installing into a user defined scripts folder (Windows XP), which is about half way down the page here:
http://jsgreenawalt.com/Blender-DTS-Exporter/documentation/installation/windows-xp-manual.html

I tried the sites listed by Rene and the first link I click to download and I get taken to a blank page(on chrome, ff, and ie). The second link just displays a link for only the documentation. Is there any other site out there that works for this?

Thanks
