Torque 2D for the iPhone - Debugging Console Display

by Onyx · in iTorque 2D · 03/09/2010 (6:47 am) · 2 replies

Hi,

I just updated my projects to the 1.3.1 version of Torque 2D for the iPhone. I've noticed that the console window is not there anymore (before it was accessible by hitting the ~ key). PC version.

Is it still there or has it been replaced by the new external console output window?

If so, I'd like to know how to launch this new window. The console launches in Debug mode, if I open the main engine project (2008 settings). But if I compile and use the 2008 project that is created when I create a new project in TGB, then this project doesn't launch the console window.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

please check the threads on 1.3 final release they will explain you how to get back the window if you want it.

Officially its not hooked in anymore as LUMA focuses the technology on what it is meant for, the iphone.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the reply, but I've checked these threads already, and I can't see anything related to the Console window.

Sticky:

1.3.1 Released
1.3 Release - A documented fix(es) list

Sorry if I did not look carefully, but I can't find the information there...

Thanks,

EDIT:

Found the thread:

[T2Di 1.3] There is no longer any way to drop the console (by default)
