TRADEMARKS & COPYRIGHTS prices

That's an obnoxious thread title, eh?

Anywho, I was looking at the USPTO's fees a few minutes ago, and... I'm actually frightened. This is scary stuff, man!

How much did you here have to pay for your trademark stuff? Was it expensive, or was it pretty affordable for your needs?

I just had both done and if you have a good lawyer it can be pretty cheap compared to somethings. My Copyright cost me $230 and my trademark cost me $675. Now you need to understand that there are different kinds of marks to get and some cost more and some cost less. Find you self a good lawyer who will not charge you for explaining what route to take.

That's a relief. If anyone here lives in the Sacramento, CA area, can you recommend a good lawyer in this specialty?
