Linux Install

I just attempted to download the linux version, but my browser (Phoenix) crashed, I think at the end of the download. The ls output:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 jim jim 23788158 Jun 12 08:30 orbz_04-20-03.sh.bin
Is it ok? Any special things I need to do to install? Install as root? What directory should the file(s) be put in?

Actually the installer has an internal checksum so you don't really need to check the md5.

The md5sum checked out and the install said that it went fine. There was an error on the console:
sh orbz*bin
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Orbz............................
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to 'GtkEntry'
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkentry.c: line 534 (gtk_entry_get_text): assertion 'entry != NULL' failed.
So now on to game play!

After that you can quit and play the game as any user.
Or I guess you could just install the whole thing as a user. Since I was putting mine in /usr/local/games I installed it as root.

After installing you do have to hit play game and let the game start as root. Just the first time, so you can register and it can right down the activation key.After that you can quit and play the game as any user.

You can install as root, or not. If you don't install as root the game will only be available to the user you installed as. Just run
sh orbz_04-20-03.sh.bin
to install. This can be run from any directory.
