What do you think about using truespace for game design.
The truespace 3.2 version is free, so I guess I might as well try it?
Post your opionions, comments, and whether you think truespace4 and up is worth getting.
Thanks in advance.

There are two trueSpace DTS exporters available. Both of them only allow static objects at this point (no animations), but they do work :) Hopefully one of them will add animation support sometime. Do a search for trueSpace and you'll find the links. I'd like to use trueSpace for player models etc, but for now I'll have to use MilkShape (can't afford Max).

It's good to know that we can at least make static shapes. Not that we will use it since there's no point switching from MS to TS. But at least it's an indication that people are keeping TS in mind.

Yeah I'm definitly keeping truespace in mind, and am also thinking about lightwave.I'm sure there's plenty of plugins for lightwave to work with torque.*Note anyone know where I can get a good deal on lightwave 7 or an earlier(cheaper)version of lightwave.(6 or 5)
