SuperPNG problem

Hi!
Been using the SuperPNG plugin for Photoshop (windows version) for some time and it's been working great until now. With a new computer and Photoshop CS4 at work now, I can't get SuperPNG to show up among the formats to choose from when saving. I'm guessing the problem is 64-bit or that it does not support CS4.
I have been using SuperPNG to be able to preserve the alpha channel when saving .png files and so far I haven’t been able to find another plugin like it.
I guess I'm only looking for some kind of confirmation but if anyone have a good alternative or tip or anything, I'd really appreciate the help.

If you have access to the install disks for Photoshop, you should be able to install both system versions of CS4.

I had the same problem when I upgraded to a 64-bit OS. It's been a real pain. Unfortunately I have to keep both the 64- and 32-bit/x86 version of Photoshop CS4 on my machine, not only for the classic version of SuperPNG, but also for Nvidia's DDS exporter. I have to keep both versions of 3ds Max 2010 installed for the same reason. If you have access to the install disks for Photoshop, you should be able to install both system versions of CS4.

Yes I miss the DDS plugin, which I also used a lot earlier. We have another separate exporter for DDS, so it's not quite as urgent but of course being able to use both plugin's would be excellent. The install disc is still in my office but i won't be back until Monday to try it.
I'll pop in back here and let you know how it goes though. Thanks a lot!

Also, which DDS exporter are you using? I wasn't aware there were options.

If you're desperate, you could try downloading the trial for PS CS4 x86 for now. The Adobe trials are usually full versions, with a 30-day time limit. Also, which DDS exporter are you using? I wasn't aware there were options.

As for the DDS converter I’m guessing it's basically as the plugin Photoshop but as a separate program. Asked our lead programmer about it (he's the one who got it for us) and he said it's this: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/texture_tools.html
Not only a dds converter but that’s what we use it for at least.
Thank you again for your help!
