Sun shines through model

Okay here is my problem. I created a school in 3D studios that is detailed inside and out. And when I place in into my terrain and I walk inside, I can see the sun when I look up. Now I have tried adding UV mapping to the exterior and many other things, but I can't get rid of the sun shinning through. Could someone please help me on this.

its because you either dont have any collision information on your .dts object, or your collision mesh is not shaped corectly to conform to torque (I can never keep convex and concave straight, but think of a hill and a crater in the ground, hills are ok but craters arnt, if your mesh is shaped like a crater in any point (or has that sort of curve) then you will still have collision with your player, but light and weapons will pass right through it like its not there) hope this helps

sounds like you forgot to add the polygons to represent the inside of the roof

Collision mesh.. for sure. The raycast that the sun object uses to test if its visible is passing through your mesh.
