Can GG better promote TX?

From the XNA forums:
Maybe we need a little more promotion over there, and some more promotion at shows?

Head to GDC or Gamefest... wander over to the GarageGames booth... see if you can find ANYTHING about TorqueX... see if any of the staff have even heard of it (last GDC the guy I talked to didn't even know it was a product - tried to sell me the Xbox Torque)
It might still exisit but its clearly not a priority for the company at all.
Maybe we need a little more promotion over there, and some more promotion at shows?

I am glad to see you guys put John on the project and hope to see TX live on and be profitable for you. I also posted in the XNA forums a link to the TX roadmap.

Weird, anyway I can tell you guys that the one TX game I made for XBLIG more than paid for every Torque product I own. Even iTGB. That was with a game that frankly kinda sucked. Next game will start paying the bills. I am glad to see you guys put John on the project and hope to see TX live on and be profitable for you. I also posted in the XNA forums a link to the TX roadmap.

Also, there seems to be more Torque X interest at Gamefest than at GDC. We should be able to show off a lot of new Torque X features at GDC, including a snazy new 3D editing pipeline and more features for both 2D & 3D engines. John K.

Trent, sorry I missed this, Enemy at the Gate, the gameplay was not what I hoped however I really wanted to make certain I could pass review with Torque and get through the process. I made a previous game Drum Kit straight up in XNA, however it was a really simple project.marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802585502ea/

Yeah, I can 100% verify that he did not talk to an employee unless this was a GDC when Torque X was beta. That's just an outrageous statement. As per your suggestion, more can always be done. We were going to have an official demo at GDC '09, but there was a scheduling conflict. However, we had the latest version of Torque X 3D and Builder running. No one requested to see it or get info. The hot trend at the time was iPhone development, and about 60% of our traffic consisted of people looking for iPhone middleware. Apple has really struck a blow to XNA and Xbox Indie.
