I feel lost, where to start?

I don't have any experience in the classical programming languages that are similar to torque. I read through the tutorials on this site but they all seem to require to know the basics. It expects me to copy paste some long code and then goes "tadaaa". But I don't know how and why this works. Even if they say what each code does, I mean you still don't know how to use it, how the class system works really and all that. I just feel really lost here.

Could you suggest something? I know it gets easier when you just understand the basic concept behind it. And if you use google, there aren't many tutorials for Torque Game Builder. I'm only interested in the 2D version.

Brian, I found the Fish Demo and Fish Game tutorial to be helpful, and also if you read the syntax page on the T3D documentation, there are some more things explained where I wasn't sure.

@Brian - I was referring to this: TGB Documentation Landing Page.

Aha. Now, if I don't have it bookmarked, the way to get to that page is to go to the company's home page www.garagegames.com; go to the Support pulldown near the top and select support->Documentation; then from that page, follow the "Torque 2D" link. Is it reachable from the Help menu in TGB?

I don't believe it is reachable from within TGB. The last update of TGB was released over a year ago and a lot has happened on the web side of things since then, which is why there is a bit of a disconnect. But actually, most of the links on the landing page refer to either tutorials that are already found in the offline docs or to stuff on TDN, which is accessible from the offline documentation start page.
