Torque 3d 1.0.1 demo

Hi, I'm helping out someone who has the full licensed version of t3d but I only have the demo. This person is currently researching licencing options so I can help in a greater degree.

Anyway I have a few questions regarding the demo:

  • Are the scripts in the tools folder supposed to be compiled? I recently bought the Universal AI Starter Kit and it requires that you modify tools/worldEditor/main.cs but for the 1.0.1 demo the script is compiled (main.cs.dso). I can understand why they are compiled but the person I'm working with is baffled about why my install has compiled scripts in my tools folder. I guess this person's demo does not have compiled scripts in the tools folder.
  • There are a lot of references to the ogre in some of the tutorials. Is the ogre not supposed to be in the demo? There are also references to the crossbow. I don't really care if those are in the demo or not but just in case they are supposed to be in the demo then someone left them out.
  • The weapons in the demo include the gravity gun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, pistol, ram rifle. At least they are defined in the demos and examples but the player does not have access to all of them (I have only seen the grav gun and rifle in the physx demo, and the grenade launcher & rocket launcher in the fps example)
  • Just in case: the player models I've seen in the demo include the spacesuit, gideon, and boombot.

thanks

The Tools scripts are supposed to be compiled in the demo and uncompiled in the full version.

The Orc and Crossbow were TGE artwork that was removed from Torque 3D since it was so old and not very nice looking.

The 1.0 demo does not have those scripts compiled as I found out.

It seems there is no compiled script in 1.0 demo. Where are those dso's?
