Blender workflow

by Laren Mortensen · in General Discussion · 11/05/2009 (2:13 am) · 2 replies

I need to know what the work-flow should be for getting art, animation, special effects, game physics, etc from Blender into Torque?

What things can be transferred from Blender and what stuff cannot? Can blender content go directly to Torque or do I need to transfer it to another software that then can transfer to Torque. I would really like to know what the blender to Torque work-flow is?

Also, I would really appreciate any websites, books, other resources that can give more information. I am willing to learn, but I would like to know where to find the resources that could teach me.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Checkout the Support->Documentation->Artists area for general info and a few external Blender/Torque tutorials.

Also check out the home of the (currently frozen) Blender dts exporter.
jsgreenawalt.com/

T3D uses *.dts, that can be exported with the dts exporter for Blender, and also *.dae with Blender's Collada exporter.
Info on that here. www.biomassthegame.com/j20090721.html
