Now that Unity Indie is now free, can we expect something similar with Torque3D?

i am not a udk fanboi and will likely in fact be licensing t3d for my next project
i just wanted to hear everyones thoughts on the dllbind feature as it pertains to this conversation
i guess it was a little idealistic and unrealistic for think that it wouldn't result in a (vaguely disguised) jab back at me and then to be ignored for the rest of the thread
oh well my mistake
im often told i expect too much of people
anyway back to your hotdog fight

@Michael - There were a few facetious words in my response, but nothing directly aimed at you (sorry if you thought so). It's more of a repeated response to open source I tend to try and pick apart. I love DLL bindings for any tech, but I'm always going to want core source nearby for emergencies.

I'm not locking or hiding this thread, since nothing has gone outside our TOS. However, this appears to be a time waster since we have heard all of this before. Shall we say R.I.P?

At any rate, perhaps it's time for everyone to voluntarily let this thread die. We have already derailed the topic, which is very old news anyway. The pricing wars are over, so what's the point?I'm not locking or hiding this thread, since nothing has gone outside our TOS. Hey, we haven't yet discussed the many shortcomings of PHP! I say let this thread live on! :)
