If it is in the game, I am not sure what to tell you. If it is in the editor, well, my lines are green, the tilemap is a collection of tiles, separated, in the editor, by lines.

Are you talking about while in the game or while in the editor?If it is in the game, I am not sure what to tell you. If it is in the editor, well, my lines are green, the tilemap is a collection of tiles, separated, in the editor, by lines.

setGridActive(%status)
Try to see if you have activated it by mistake.

I'm not home at the moment, but I have a vague recollection that the grid can be turned on/off as a property in the Tile object.setGridActive(%status)
Try to see if you have activated it by mistake.

if you dont know what are you talkig about, sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut.
@Max:
its not about the active grids or something, this happened to me quite a lot in the editor and while testing the game... and while sometimes the problem pops up in the same tile, sometimes it doesnt... and to top it off, the lines that appear on the tiles, doesnt always show in the same place.
at 1st i thought it was a rendering problem, because the problem poped up mostly while testing the game and not while making or placing the tiles.
one "solution" i got for it (that is not definitive) is to uncheck the filter pad option when creating new imagemaps from the editor... it will help you in most cases, but again, its not a definitive method to solve that issue.

Yes, I have rarely seen them too when playing. I think it is due to rescaling the original bitmap in combination with the filter. I tried to scale my bitmaps to reduce distortion.
Isn't there also a requirement that the bitmaps are a power of 2 as well?

i'll try to make some tests later to see if your theory of teh rescaling applies... never thought of that, to be honest.

i noticed that even if your images are in perfect power of 2, the problem persists... and in some cases its REALLY annoying (specially if you make your tiles with animated sprites).i'll try to make some tests later to see if your theory of teh rescaling applies... never thought of that, to be honest.

why?... for pointing out the truth?... you kept saying again and again in your "threads" something like "... if you dont have something helpful to say, dont say it..." and that was always directed to me.
now, you come to a thread treating an advanced rendering problem, and come up with something like:
and you consider yourself helpful?... even tho YOU DIDNT KNOW WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM WAS? (let alone, how to solve it... at least partially) c'mon man!... go back to reading your tuts, let the ones with real problems and will to solve them, come to the forums for real help... not just for a step by step "how to sum up 2 strings in torque script using a behaviour".
anyway... i can be lame, but at least, i REALLY am helpful, not like someone i know.
