What games can be made with Torque 3D?

the title says it all, what type of genres can be made with Torque 3D? I was thinking of making a RPG game but i heard some stuff saying that Torque can not make RPG games is that true? Thanks

Torque is fantastic for RPG games.

One of the earliest games on Torque was Minions of Mirth, an MMORPG by Josh Englebretson, who worked on Torque 3D.

In short, you can make any genre you want. The only limit is your ability. Torque seems to be set up, by default, to cater to an online shooter sort of environment, but you'll find that it's relatively simple to change the gameplay to suit your needs.

In Theory Torque can make any type of game you like, however the stock game as it comes is setup for an FPS so to create another genre then expect to do a lot of heavy customizations to some core elements.

Packs like AFX really help when it's ported to Torque 3D
