Destructible terrain?

im just wondering be4 i consider buying this... is it possible to have destructible terrain just like in Red Faction? (the first 1)

Also what type of physics are you using for the box?(movement is pretty good)

Wow, that looks awesome, I used the Terrain Deformation resource for big explosions on a project back in the day, but that looks WAY better then I ever used it.Also what type of physics are you using for the box?(movement is pretty good)

I have no infomation on this video at all. lol I just found it on youtube. I'm sure the box could be used in the same way in T3D with Physx

yea just like when an explosion hits like some buildingin the wall the wall will have a hole in it

You could fake it by making a depression in the terrain and then putting a static shape in place to cover it. So when an explosion occurs you can just delete the shape and it'll look like a crater was formed by it.
