Which engine is the best for 2.5D?

I am trying to create a platform-adventure video game for Xbox Live Arcade. That game would use a 2.5D design, with the player moving about levels like a side-scrolling video game but required to dispatch enemies in three dimensions.

Similar to Shadow Complex (Uses Unreal 3)

Torque 3D would be the best option. The game is completely 3D. The players movement is simply relegated to a singular 2Dish path similar to Tomba, Pandemonium, etc.

@David but he says "I am trying to create a platform-adventure video game for Xbox Live Arcade", so with T3D you can export to Xbox? maybe with a library? (and a separate license?)

Ah, I missed that. If he wants to use XNA and the Creator's Club, then TorqueX 3D would be the best one from us.

If he is a licensed XBox developer, then Torque 3D would be an option with an additional console license.
