Remove Start a blog button Please!

Would GG please remove the Start A Blog button from the forum pages. Several times I have written a lengthy forum post and accidentally clicked the Start a Blog button instead of the save post button. Of course, when you go back a page, the forum post is blank and all text written is lost.

I know this is user error, but UI design here is assisting my stupidity :)

Where is "Start a Blog"?
Screenshot or it doesn't happen.

I'm with you Steve. All I see is the Start a Thread button at the top of the page with Post Blog and Add Resource in the more actions menu next to it. The post button is below the text box at the bottom of the page and it's the same layout for starting a thread only save instead of post with a hypertext link for cancel next to it.

Could be Scott P. and Javier's browsers aren't rendering the page properly?

Hmm... I see a "Start a Thread" button and that's always worked as expected. There is a "More" menu also (as Scott mentions) with clearly defined actions/lables -- I know that I sure would feel silly if using that was causing me this problem ;)

Guys, my appology. I was editing my response to the "TGE Open Source" blog thread, not a forum thread when this happened. At the top right side of the screen is the "Start a Blog" button when you edit your already existing post in a blog. If we are editing a blog post blog, this button should be hidden.

By the way, same thing for when you are editing a forum post. Does not make sense to have the "Start a Thread" button when you are editing a post.

I am using IE8.

I agree - starting a thread when reading one, or starting a blog when reading one isn't the first thing that comes to mind. It's under the More button anyway.
