TSIntegerSet::setAll: out of range

bah! this thing is driving me crazy!

im using max 4 with the correct exporter. my model is only 944 polygons. when i export it, everything is good, and it exports from max just fine. however once i load it in game, i immediately get this:

TSIntegerSet::setAll: out of range

and the program crashes. what is that?! what is causing it and how can i fix it??

any help will be greatly appreciated!
