Hi to every body,
i am a very good delphi programmer i was learned Turbo C++ many years ago but i moved to delphi since i like programming and creating 3D games i now study microsoft visual C++ 6 for desktop application exam and it is going well
also i work for few months with 3D game studio and it is vrey easy but i care of two major things :graphics and game programming time
i know that programming = solving problems but i fond wdl (game studio script) very unlogical and very simple also but i prefer the power of C++
so any one give me an advice if i can move to tge without afraid to stuck with any in game problems - i need the avrage time of solving a complicated problem like path finding (or any AI problem) with tge.
also what about the development process of tge is it fast or slow or it depend only on forum generous members
also i download the Realm Wars and find the dts models shiped with the demo is it the case with any game , in other words does tge protect game media sources ?
thanks

Let's ignore content development for a moment. If you're doing another fps type game it will be relatively easy, and you might be able to make it with almost no changes to the source (only scripts). If you're making a very different game, like a RTS or fighting game, it'll be a whole lot more work.

Development time depends a great deal on how close to the demo projects (fps, racing, and RW) you are planning to make your game. Let's ignore content development for a moment. If you're doing another fps type game it will be relatively easy, and you might be able to make it with almost no changes to the source (only scripts).
