Unable to load interior: Ammo.dts ?!?

by Tuomas Kaukoranta · in Torque Game Engine · 09/07/2009 (2:56 pm) · 7 replies

Hello, I've installed the sidewider projectiles resource on TGE 1.5.2 (www.garagegames.com/community/resources/view/16419) and it compiled just fine. When trying to run Starter.FPS I get the following error message: You do not have the correct version of the 'fps starter kit or the related art needed to play on this server, please contact the server operator for more information. (Unable to load interior: ammo.dts)

I tried searching console log for errors but it was pretty clean.

Any help would be apprecieated!

First off, What folder is ammo.dts in? It should be in the shapes directory as it is not an interior. Only dif files and their textures go in that folder. Also, make sure your ammo.dts's textures are in the same folder as your ammo.dts. (that's the usual reason for that error message)

I got rid of the ammo.dts error by taking all the un-important files from game.cs but then it didn't work either. Now it says the same error message but its some weird characters instead of ammo.dts.

Sorry for the delay. I was out of town.
Have you looked into the console.log?
In the same folder as your exe is a text file called console.log. You can open it with any text editor and it will normally tell you what the problem is.

I had the console log checked, but I uninstalled the sidewinder projectiles resource, now everything works again.
I propably did something wrong installing the resource, or it conflicts with some other stuff I have.
