Non-commercial use?

Hi there everyone. I kind of want to get into gamming design and the likes, and I think the torque engine would be a good place to start. I'm only a high school student, learning just for fun. So I'm wondering, are there any non-commercial, non-profit licenses for students/home users?

Is there any predictable time at when it will be free for individuals?

There's still the demo versions of TGE and TGEA. You can download those to mess around with and get the hang of the engine. It only gives you access to the scripts, no source code and you can't publish anything you make with it.

Ok, that's cool. I'm not interested in the source code and I didn't plan on publishing anything anyways.
