Production Quality Art... At Last =)

February always seems to be a slow time of year for me.

It's not that there's any shortage of tasks crying out for completion, quite the contrary, it's that there always seems to be a glut of year end tasks at work and home that in the end, cause getting anything accomplished to feel like a painful tedious grind.

Suffice it to say that game-development time typically suffers during periods like this, and this particular occasion is no different.

By the end of March though, things will lighten up and further development can begin anew with a a renewed sense of dedication and vigor.

In the meantime, I'm not without progress... they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let these images fill you in the rest of the way. (C;

I love jet bikes!! In fact one of my close friends would always make fun of me whenever I was discussing adding a new feature by mocking "...and add jet bikes".

I would suggest reworking the HUD. It would be impossible to read (especially at high speeds) at that backward angle. Otherwise nice clean work and fun design.

The hud in the image is only there for decorative purposes. There's a more extensive full screen HUD in-game.

P.S.
Jet bikes rule!

Yeah I meant from the character's perspective not the players =) Just a design nit-pick.

I really like this. Remindes me on my all-time favourite game "Forsaken". Will this be available for buying?

Not as a content purchase, if that's what you're asking.

This is the first of four vehicles for my project "Afterburn".
