Hey all,
Having finished uni and got some time handy, ive been working on the shell of Chain-Works in the last week or so. It's a real credit to T2D that i've managed to actually get something going, seeing as I've never scripted anything before in my life.
Now the core engine is ticking pretty well. I can seed any number of fireworks, across any number of firing points, and fire them with any minimum and maximum velocities, at any intervals I wish. I attached a stock emitter and get the basic chaining system rules sorted. You can now chain the same coloured fireworks together and link different colours using the white fireworks. Added a chain indicator which shows you the content of your current chain (top left). Lastly I added a basic scoring system and a few buttons.
So I thought i'd post a few pics up here, just so people can see how it's looking! Not too impressive to most im sure; but a good reflection of how the power of t2d is harnessed behind a simple and intuitive yet incredibly dynamic and flexible scripting front end.
Basic set up
Chain inidicators
Now to start hammering out all the visuals, game modes etc.!
Thanks for reading!
