Well its been about 10 days after a year since i got Torque. I've learned a lot and learned what not to do. I've also learned you have to keep trudging on. When i first started Subwars it was meant to be a little project where I could learn the basics of the engine. Well I've gotten a lot farther in this engine and I've got to start putting my knowledge towards working goals. If we seem familar to you it's because we use to be VioletGames. Back when I first started Subwars I had a list of Milestones. A milestone being an achivement that I knew would take time and learning to achieve. I have achieved almost all my milestones so it is now time to set new ones.
1) Introduce new models into the flight system. Tweak flight system until it is right.
2) Introduce single player game functionality such as small missions which include lessons on firing and evasive manuevers.
3) Add basic functionality for multiplayer. This includes a working radar system and other enchancements
4) Release a simple yet PLAYABLE demo. It doesnt nesscarily have to be fun.
5) Get site up to par along with userbase. Which means more content, customized features, patch system and advertising.
These are very broad milestones and these take a lot of hard work and time. So if you want to help or just become a beta tester check us out on irc or post on our forums.


We got some other models in game and I still got some learning to do about the art work, but hopefully i can get a beta out soon.
