intro

Hello and welcome to another weekly plan highlights. I am taking a vacation until New Year from making comments on the plans so I can have some free time left over to enjoy myself. You all know how busy it gets around the holidays. I am finding myself with so little free time, let alone energy, that I have to let something go. I am still going to be giving you a list of all the plans with the links and synopsis. This isn't anything you couldn't get from looking thru the blog lists yourself, but, at least you don't have to wonder what was only from last week and you don't have to click on pesky 1,2,3,4,5... links. :P Have a happy holiday season if you are celebrating any holidays this season!! I'll be back with comments and other fun stuff after New Years. Meanwhile, I am going to go have some fun!! Hope you do too!!!

of interest

The creator of the TV show Alias is making the new Mission Impossible movie and the creator of the TV show Miami Vice is making the new Miami Vice movie.

Mission Impossible 3 should kick all kinds of ass with the creator of the best spy franchise since... well... the Mission Impossible TV show. And interesting fact is that this director came in as a replacement for Joe Carnahan, the writer and director of Narc, which is my favorite modern hard boiled detective movie. I was bummed when Joe Carnahan dropped out of MI3 cause I was looking forward to a fresh hard edged take on the series. I was happy when the Alias creator was announced as a replacement. I was a little worried that he might now make a good transition to movies. Boy was I worried for nothing. Check out the new teaser trailor for MI3 that was released yesterday.

Mission Impossible 3 Teaser Trailer

Speaking of TV directors making the leap to the big screen. Miami Vice is... it's a movie by the guy who made the TV show years ago but then graduated to movies like Heat, The Insider, Ali and Collateral... and now he's making his old TV show into a movie. I am guessing that it must be good or he wouldn't be making it. I am not sure what to think of the teaser trailer which was released yesterday. It's cool. It's not really saying anything. Maybe that's good. It is just a teaser trailer. Plus. You ever notice that the movies with trailers that don't really tell you what's going on wind up being movies that totally blindside you. I wonder if there is a connection? :P Here's a link to the teaser trailer for Miami Vice.

Cheers for this anton, I've been decorating all week and I'm just catching up with whats been going on, have a good vacation. I hope MI3 is better than the last one, all those bike stunts in MI2 just killed it for me.
