Plan for Jason Swearingen

by Jason Swearingen · 12/05/2005 (4:44 pm) · 8 comments

i had a pretty long .plan here, but it got eaten by the Orc gods that live in the GG website underworld.

So here's a truncated version:

t2d.net
updated to use t2d v1.1a

i wont be releasing an update yet though, i'll wait towards the end of this month. the reason why is the last update was a bit rushed (it works, but is messy)

i want time to clean things up and update docs, etc.

loderunner clone
I've been working with a guy (Andy, who reads these fourms) on writing a loderunner clone using t2d.net

it's a pretty good team. Andy's been writing the game logic, i've been writing the engine/tools. it's a great way for me to squash bugs. he finds em, i fix em.

okay, sorry a lot of detail is missing from this plan, i just dont wanna type it all again :)

No no he's right, except the original lode runner is from back in the day where everybody, good or bad, was green. I played the remake on mac OS 9 or something a number of years ago - I thought it was pretty good. Might have been on PC too, not sure.

Jason - yeah I learned that lesson too. Now I always copy the plan to a text file just in case, and I've been glad I did once or twice.

Loderunner rocks! I loved making my own levels that I could dig around and trap baddies (and myself) in! Sign me up!

(Andy is my middle name, Steve is my first :D)
I'm glad you guys are excited! I loved playing Loderunner on my C64, playing it on Mame is cool especially the 2 player coop mode. I'm still learning how T2D works. I totally dig T2D.NET, it clicks into my head so much nicer than TScript. Jason is doing an awesome job, each release he does, it gets better and better. Lov'in it!
