BETA PATCH
Please note that this patch message is for the BETA version of the game.
You may Pre-Order Minions of Mirth for access to the BETA version.
The Dedicated World Server repository has also been updated with new assets and code. If you are running your own dedicated world, please update your world.
Patch 11-23-05
* Added the new wolf and beetle models, thanks to Magnus Blikstad of WIT Entertainment.
* Added the female and male Scorpius model and the Golem model with iron, bone, stone, and flesh variations, thanks to Magnus Blikstad of WIT Entertainment.
* Guuramekk is now a wolf model.
* The Swamp of Ruin now connects to the Eldritch Temple. This is live, though still in progress.
* Updated the main FoL quest. Give/take actions are no longer attached to teleport actions.
* Added spawns to Swamp of Ruin. It's a level 10-18 zone.
* Removed presence from the Drum of the Bard.
* Paladins now get "Lay on Hands" at level 10. This is a trained skill. Talk to Jobeech Ric in Trinst.
* Thieves now get the "Pick Pocket" skill at level 8. This is a trained skill, talk to Dinzer Pinz in Trinst or Irithat Sava in Kauldur
* Combatants (level 11) and Rogues (level 4) now get the Disarm skill
* Added auto targeting code for skills.
* Halflings can now be Wizards
* Pets no longer receive class skills
* Non-player pets now have 50% health
* Added a limiter to the number of pets a mob will summon in a single combat
* Taking damage while casting can now interrupt your spells
* Implemented the Concentration skill, which can help avoid spell interruptions due to taking damage
* Patch Information is now displayed on restart
* Added a forge to the Honorforger Island, thanks to Mark Deaton
* Added Aztec influenced ruins to Jakreth Jungle thanks to Jason Hall
* Improvements to the core engine technology (allowing more foliage, etc)
* Improved the amount of Jungle Foliage
* Added fauna to Jungle and Anidaen Forest
* Tempest pets are no longer Necromancers
* Adjusted Necromancer pets so they aren't equal in level to the Necromancer summoning them
* Slowed Movement Speed of Many Undead
* Monsters should no longer aggro each other with AoE
* Baron Hazelbrek has begun construction of an evil outpost in the Anidaen
* Sharif Izelbin has built a tower in the Anidean
* The six masters have arrived.
* Ghorul Arena has opened in the Eastern Wasteland
* Added many spawns, drops, and a number of quests
* Implemented the Combat Casting skill, this skill allows combatants to take damage without fear of interruption. It also allows combatants to melee while casting.
* Combat Casting is the result of an involved quest. Monks, Paladins, Barbarians, Doom Knights, and Rangers should talk to Grandmaster Targen in the Talrim Hills
