It works:
interior bump2, fsaa fastest
interior bump, fsaa nicest, some bloom
These shots have parts with no bump mapping overlayed so you can see the difference.
I'll have it to get it to work with fog now. After that I'll try to add parallax bump mapping.

The shots are quite big png files. Maybe that's why (dunno).

This works on all cards with at least 3 (4 with fog) texture units and pixel shader support.

Wow. Super quick response. Very cool news. I would love to know how you achieved this. If you ever do a tutorial for this, please let us know. I have a feeling it would be a big hit around here. :)Thanks for answering

I will not release that as a ressource or add-on unless somebody helps me with support. Because of my day job I don't have time to answer questions, help people compile or code fall backs. It would basically ruin the few hours I can spend on playing with the engine. I am looking for people to help me getting this into a state where it can be released. Next steps for me right now are:1. work on fog and bloom shader enhancements
2. add bump for meshes and statics
3. parallax bump
4. water block or shadows (whatever is easier comes first)
5. material system

I don't blame you for approaching it that way -- it sounds like a fair enough proposition, though. I'm mostly clueless about coding so I wouldn't be much help, but hopefully someone else will have what it takes to lend a hand.

Its a shame that many cool features will only be released when its done, just to have the developer never finish or just ups and leaves the community or project.

@chris: The implementation I have right now is simply not usable in a game project because it does little to no error checking and provides no fallbacks. Nobody would benefit from it.
