Plan for Jacob Fike (valinorbob)

I have been working hard on my game-oriented project manager web app the last few weeks. I have cobbled together a decent looking design, and have almost all the intended functionality complete. Here's a few screenshots:

The new and improved Desktop. Shows all of your assigned tasks, and all the recent activity for each project.

The Task pane for a project. Neatly color coded based on completion.

Newest feature: Milestones! Milestones are collections of tasks and checklists with a common deadline. The milestone's progress is calculated based on the progress of all associated tasks and checklists.

As always, I love getting feedback, so either post here or shoot me an email at valinorbob at gmail.com. I also have setup an information page on my main site/portfolio where you can sign up for a mailing list to get the announcement of the beta release (www.randomdeveloper.com/gameproject). You can also still create an account and play around on the test site: workshop.randomdeveloper.com.

Looks good. Funny, I'm working on a project manager aimed mainly at CG artists, for the domain cgcollab.com. I figured it would prolly work just as well for game developers too.

Still in the prototype stage atm, I was being overly ambitious with the permissions system, that and I'm still playing with the Rico Ajax bits 'n'bobs.

Hah, I just found out about Rico yesterday, and plan to implement some of it in my app. Well, like they say, "great minds thing alike." So, I guess that means we're all geniuses!

Maybe we should look at the pros/cons of merging our projects together?

This site is really awesome.. I could really use this for my game. I find it hard to keep people co-ordinated. If we had an online collective area we could submit stuff to it would be wicked. Keep this up, for sure.

@Midhir: Yes, it uses PHP and MySQL, and will also incorporate a lot of javascript before I am finished with it.

Thanks for the comments. Knowing people will like this really helps to keep me motivated.
