Plan for Ryan Wenke

This is my first blog, so hopefully some find this to be interesting.

My name is Ryan Wenke. I am the lead programmer of Moonstruck Games, and we are currently creating a FPS-RTS-RPG set in a fantasy world codenamed Project "Survival". Our goal is to create a title that appeals to all types of gamers, which so far we are successfully doing. Without repeating much of what is already on our website www.moonstruckgames.com, I will briefly describe a few things.

Moonstruck Games consist of 6 individuals working remotly from different parts of the United States. Although most would think that our communication is pretty lousy, I am amazed at the dedication and communication between each other. I do not know any other persons that are as dedicated as the Moonstruck team. We are making a very in depth FPS-RTS-RPG. Players will get to play as three races, and battle on immersive landscapes with meele/ranged weapons, as well as siege/mounted/flying units. You will be able to switch between a FPS, RTS and RPG style game within seconds. No matter what type of style you are playing as, you will be working as a team with completly different types of gamers to achieve a common goal.

Most RPG games consist of doing quests with a few friends and AI. In our title, all quests will be seen by every player on the server. You may encounter opposing real life enemies on the way, or if you are lucky someone from your team who agrees to protect you. Below are some 3D renderings of the enviornment you will be seeing.

My favorite three genres in one game, amazing! Warcraft III was good example which combined RTS and RPG. And those shots are seriously nice and looks very realistic.

Good luck Ryan to you and your team:)
