Plan for Josh "GimpMaster" Hintze

Hello all.
I just wanted to take a minute and post my first blog to the garagegame community. I've been a torque owner for probably over a month now and things are going great. I can't believe how much faster i can implement something and get a quick prototype of it up and running in torque where as when i was developing my own engine it would have taken many times longer.
Anyways i've been hanging out on the IRC #garagegames channel with the user name GimpMaster and in my opinion its been just as helpful as the resource section, of course this is depending on who is currently in there :)
Although i've currently been just playing around with torque: trying to add new gui objects, adding sounds, and just getting a general feel for torque; my first game development is actually a remake of an old game that came out back in 2002 - Project I.G.I. 2 When this game came out i played the multiplayer heavily. In fact it was the first game that i was involved with a clan. Unfortanetly this game failed in the USA pretty badily. Over in europe there is still a following but nothing significant. My goal, since then, has always been to remake this game and improve on some of the bugs that existed while adding some new features.
Well recently I got some of my old clan mates and some other die hard IGI 2 fans and we started a development community to make the next IGI. This game will be free and will only be multiplayer. We have started our own community and you can check us out at www.igi3.net We have actually attracted the attention of the original game creators and have gotten their blessing in a way.
So anyways...i just wanted to say hello and that i'll be an active member of this community. I already have a resource I would like to put up soon. Just something simple but was pretty helpful to me and my project.

Project IGI was an awesome game. i actually liked the first one compared to the sequel. But a remake would be awesome :)
