Plan for Sam Bacsa

Yes, I'm still here. I didn't disappear, although it was tempting with all this odd weather we've been having down here in Los Angeles :)
Just wanted to bring all of you up-to-date with the latest on TorqueDev, since I know many of you have been waiting for something.
It's almost done.
Yes, the rumors (what rumors?) are true! I've patched up (basically) every bug that's been reported (I'll be setting the reports on "resolved" soon, so everyone knows what's been fleshed out and what hasn't), and implemented most feature requests that have been thrown my way.
I'm taking a break now, from programming, for a week. I've basically programmed at least 4 hours every day since I've announced my plans for Delta 6 (and 4 hours is a long time with all my other personal matters, plus other freelance contracts I have), with a break every couple of days or so; therefore I think it's time that longer break is in order :)
When I return to TorqueDev, I'll finish up the website, patch up the last few bug reports, and release the final Delta. I plan on having this out November 1st.
The new version includes, among other things, a completely re-constructed plugins API, filesystem-based projects, check-as-you-go syntax verification, enhancements to autocomplete/intellisense/infopop tips, many bug fixes (including the whole breakpoint problem), removal of required activation, and a source control framework for version control plugins.
There are also a bunch of little enhancements I didn't name like memory-usage cleanup, new color customizations (like changing background colors all at once, changing the line number count colors, etc), remote debugging, and much more.
*phew*
Take care, all.
On a completely separate note, some things are just too funny for words.

I started using TorqueDev a little while ago fro my script side and it's worked great aside from a couple non-critical error messages I got now and then. Very looking forward to the completed version, it's by far my favourite script IDE I've tried.

You deserve the break sam, try not to kill yourself with other projects.

Glad to see you're slugging it out with TD, Sam. You're a true pro. Looking forward to trying the next rev.

I use TorqueDev as my development environment all the time now, I have to say it has really helped me out. I love the syntax highlighting as well, the colours are nice and pretty but don't damage the eyes at 2am - although it does have other more useful features which I also enjoy :)
Thanks so much Sam, look forward to the update.
