In the world of alpha/beta tester I am a guru. I enjoy gaming, and the online aspect just continues to blow me away. With my extensive background in retail, I, like many before me, have seen the power of this market and try to grasp it. But due to the nature of the game, it is like a good film, you may only get a sequel or two out of it. Thus the talent to create and nurture new ideas is fundelmental to our industry.
Thus now leads me to the next step in gaming, design. I have created mods and maps for some popular games out there, and a few of them are still being used and downloaded. But to actually take some of my ideas and make them whole, from the "get go" is my next step. Most can take a great design and in some way, shape or form manipulate script and coding and walla, you have a mod. That is how I started. Buut now, with the industry the way it is, to increase my knowledge from the ground level, will make me a more valued asset.
