Plan for Fail66

I have been thinking about what types of game I would like to play/write. After many hours of learning Blender, C++, Torquescript, and all the other tools required, I feel it's time to move on to actually doing something. I still have issues uvmapping my art, but this will come in time.
I love SciFi, every Friday from 6 to 10pm, my wife and I are sitting on the couch watching the Scifi channel, SG1, Atlantis, Battlestar, and Firefly. We miss frelling Farscape. I am also interested in WW2 and Ancient Rome. So I decided to do a game about my interests. Rome, WW2 era Nazi's, and SciFi all rolled into one. I am not a Nazi, no flames please.
The game is temporarily called The 5th Reich. It takes place in the future, around 2500AD. The present political power have reigned for about 100 years. They have made huge technological advances. They have also adopted most of the ancient Roman culture. They rule most of the earth, but the still are having issues with outlying provinces.
Story still in development. My wife is a major inspiration in this area. My son is helping with the artwork. The Tribes series will also be a major influence on this game, as it is my favorite game series of all time.
I hope to have "Gates to New Rome" map done, and some screens posted in a month or two. Still very artisically challenged at the moment. :)
